THIS PRODUCT MEETS 2005 CARB/OTC VOC REGULATIONS FOR CONSUMER PRODUCTS.

CA, DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA - This product meets VOC Standards for products manufactured after 12/31/04

ME - This product meets VOC Standards for products manufactured after 5/1/05.

North VA - This product meets the VOC Standards for products manufactured after 7/1/05

Effective January 1, 2005, the states of CA, DE, DC, MD, NJ, NY, PA enacted even more stringent legislation regulating VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) Content in Consumer Products. Products manufactured after this date must meet these new standards for Reduced VOC Content.In their effort to to provide safe, clean air to all Californians and protect the public from exposure to toxic air contaminants

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Air Quality Management District (AQMD) lead the way for regulating the reduction of VOC's in our daily life. California's Air Quality Regulations are the most stringent in the United States. The rest of the country and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) usually follows California's lead on Environmental Legislation.

This reduction in VOC's, whether it be Consumer Products, Portable Fuel Containers, Vehicle Emissions or Industrial Coatings is necessary in reducing the problem of ozone induced smog and global warming.To learn more about ground level ozone click here! http://www.otcair.org
